Frame Styles
WardMaps.com offers three frames styles. Our Black Wood Frames are pre-manufactured and are economical. Our Mahogany/Gold and Black Stepped Frames are custom made to order. All frames are professionally assembled and feature hand cut acid free mats and backing boards. All frames feature glass. Black Wood Frame
Our black wood frames are ready-made for small and medium map prints. Black wood frames are gloss black and have a beveled profile. Mats are 2" wide and are cream-colored, acid-free with beveled-cut openings specifically cut for each map. Integral hanger hooks and map information data are installed on back. These are our most economical frames.

Mahogany/Gold Frame
Mahogany/gold frames are custom made with a multiple bevel profile in reddish brown with gold accent. Mats are 3"-4" wide depending on map size and cream-colored, acid-free with beveled-cut openings. Mats feature french style india ink boarders. Frames include glass and acid-free backing boards. Hanging wire and map data are installed on back.

Black Stepped Frame
Black stepped frames are custom made featuring a multiple bevel profile in gloss black. Mats are 3"-4" wide depending on map size and are cream-colored, acid-free with beveled-cut openings. Mats feature french style india ink boarders. Frames include glass and acid-free backing boards. Hanging wire and map data are installed on back.

Note 1: Frame sizes for antique maps vary. Frames for antique maps are typically 6"-8" wider and taller than the antique map being ordered. This is due to the addition of a 3"-4" wide mat on all sides.
