Custom Printing and Products
- Print Your Images or Logos on Our Products: Since all WardMaps products are printed on demand, we can print your artwork with the same high quality as our map reproductions. Choose from our line of functional gift products.
- No Setup Fee: We never charge a setup fee for custom jobs, whether you are ordering 1 or 100 items!
- Getting Your Art Work To Us: Feel free to email us or drop off a CD at our store with digital versions of the images you would like to print. We can also digitize your images for a fee. When sending images be sure to let us know what product(s) you would like to print onto. Images to be printed should be 300dpi minimum .JPG or .TIF files. Contact us with any questions.
- Image Rights: Please keep in mind that any image brought to WardMaps for printing must be free of copyright or you must have the rights to reproduce the image supplied.
Harvard University - Cambridge, MA (above). Harvard University has been a long time client of ours. We have produced custom serving trays and mugs as well as map reproductions for various departments. Pictured above is a serving tray we created featuring the Harvard shield. At Harvard's request, we digitally altered the colors of buildings in the map printed to be "Harvard crimson."
 
Harvard Book Store - Cambridge, MA (above). Working with our long term reseller and neighbor in Harvard Square, we print runs of mugs featuring imagery created by the Harvard Book Store's art department.
 
Newton History Museum - Newton, MA (above). WardMaps worked with the managers of the Newton History Museum to create a custom journal book featuring and antique map of Newton on the cover. Also integrated is the website address of the museum.
East Wind Silver Co., Chatham, MA (above). WardMaps created a series of custom gift products including mugs, journal books and coasters for a Cape Cod gift store. The gift products featured antique maps of Chatham Massachusetts with the store's logo. We have worked with multiple stores to tailor our gift products by adding logos and other custom imagery.
Custom Lampshade. Archival print of antique map was laminated onto lampshade creating a unique home accessory!

Framing and Installation for Property Owners
- Projects Tailored for Your Space: Work directly with the owners of WardMaps to create a tailored job for your project. Together we can print maps from our collection, create custom map compositions as well as custom framing solutions. Also, we can customize and of our specialty gift products with logos or custom imagery tailored for your project.
- Installation Service: We offer on-site installation of framed map orders at an hourly rate. Let us do the dirty work!
- Bulk Order Discount: Larger quantity orders can receive steep discounts. Need to furnish elevator lobbies or multiple conference rooms with framed antique map prints? Need to order 500 custom mugs to celebrate your grand opening? Call us and to discuss a quote lower than retail.
- Example Projects:
Lenox Hotel - Boston, MA. WardMaps worked with the owner and manager of Boston's historic Lenox Hotel to select authentic antique maps that featured the hotel in three distinct time periods. WardMaps quoted and provided custom matting and framing solutions including the design and addition of custom marquis text on each composition.
 
David Gosselin & Associates - Cambridge, MA (above). Working directly with the owner, WardMaps provided multiple framed and matted reproductions of local antique maps for the firm's Cambridge office.
Marblehead Chowder Co. - Marblehead, MA. The owner of the recently opened Marblehead Chowder Company approached us looking to install unique art in their restaurant. Working together, we enlarged portions of antique maps of Marble head from our collection. The printed the supersized maps for the owner to frame and hang throughout the restaurant.
  
Real Estate Agency - Boston, MA (above). WardMaps was comissioned by a real estate agency in Boston's Back Bay neighborhood, to outfit their recently renovated office with a custom series of framed map prints from our collection. WardMaps installed various compositions of our medium framed prints as well as our large framed prints.

Park Plaza Hotel - Boston, MA (above). Working with a long time client and local art consultant, WardMaps digitized and reproduced over 50 vintage postcards for Boston's historic Park Plaza Hotel. Each vintage post card was digitally color corrected, enlarged and printed using archival inks and papers. Our prints were framed and installed throughout the historic hotel's conference and meeting rooms.

- Example Projects:
Citibank Branches - Somerville, Cambridge & Boston, MA (above). WardMaps created custom printed mugs for newly opened Citibank branches in metro Boston. The mugs featured an antique map from our collection featuring the location of the bank. We customized the maps on each mug adding the Citibank corporate and bank branch information. As one branch received the mugs, other local branches were impressed with our quality and contacted us to create custom mugs for their branches.
 
Langham Hotel - Boston, MA (above). The Langham Hotel is located in an historic 19th century building which once held Boston's Federal Reserve Bank. Building upon that history, WardMaps created a large custom run of journal books featuring an antique map of the old Federal Reserve Bank. Working with the hotel's corporate office, we created a composition that featured the hotel's logo. The Langham has since been a repeat customer for our journal books.
